Diana Gracida is a Guadalajara-born artist whose practice is shaped by Mexican heritage and a life lived across cultures. She studied graphic design and photography in Guadalajara and continued her photography education in Madrid and England. Now based in Los Angeles, she develops work rooted in light, place, and emotional memory.

Grounded in analog photography and expanded through digital collage and double exposure, her work reveals the quiet, unspoken layers of experience. Using nature and landscape as metaphor, her work explores vulnerability, resilience, and transformation.

Within the canvas of her work, she aims to create a safe space for viewers to reflect on their own emotions and stories. She believes in the transformative power of art, and uses her practice to encourage others to explore vulnerability, practice forgiveness, and find beauty in healing—an invitation to befriend what is tender and to find solace in the process. After confronting breast cancer, this intention became central to her work.
